The Foundation

The John Taylor foundation for young athletes is a charitable trust set up in 2002 to honour John’s memory in a fitting way, through the sport that he loved.
It was registered as a charity, # 1101008, on 3rd December 2003.
The objects of the foundation are:

  • The relief of poverty by the provision of financial assistance to young amateur athletes in the United Kingdom to allow them to pursue opportunities in amateur athletics; and
  • The promotion and preservation of good health by raising public awareness of the condition of Cardiomyopathy in athletics in the United Kingdom.
